Nursing and cookingyes, at the same time…

I love my baby sling. I picked it up at Target for forty bucks, and it’s totally been worth every penny. Miss Darci Ann loves it too. She fits inside like a tinny sweet pea snuggled in it’s pod. At church, in a restaurant, on a walk, wherever I go I slip on my sling and tuck her inside. It’s been great absolutely wonderfully amazing at the grocery store (with her in the sling I can still fit all three boys in a cart and my hands remain free) and one of the best things about my sling is that I can nurse her while she’s all snugly in there too. Tonight I found myself with two important tasks needing to be accomplished; dinner and feeding the baby. My trusty sling allowed me to tackle both at the same time… With baby in the sling and hooked up to the “feeding tube” (as hubby calls em) I chopped onions, stirred the pot of ham and bean soup, baked some corn bread and made an apple coleslaw salad (I am totally lovin this meal planning thing!).

I tried one of those baby slings on when my last one was born, but I don’t think I had it on right or something because I could never get it to lay right. (?) Who knows. But I am SURE glad you’re loving the e-mealz. I love it too. 🙂

I had to laugh when I read this, because I would be lying if I said I never did that! 🙂

Hi, Tiffanie. I haven’t stopped by in awhile (life has been SO busy) but wanted to check in and see how the new baby was doing. Sounds like all is great and I am so happy for you! Happy Sunday!

I have a ring sling. I loved it. Actually, thanks for reminding me. I can still use it for Jr as I wear him on my hip.
