Sitting here marveling at the red wall I painted yesterday. I like it… it ads some life in here. I love color, you can do so much with a can of paint; change the mood and feel of an entire room. Would be nice if I could slap a coat of paint on myself from time to time and change my mood and feel. I could use a pretty shade of energy today and a dark coat of patience (cause the boys are already tryin mine). Speaking of those little monsters… would like to make them over in a nice shade of good behavior finished with a heavy layer of yes mom. Seriously, is it too much to ask that they simply answer with a “yes mom” and keep the monin and grownin to themselves? We have been working on this (with one of them in particular) for weeks now. It seems so silly that he ends up in trouble for a bad attitude and being disrespectful when all I wanted him to do was take his cup to the sink, or stop running circles around the house, or play nicely, or stop screaming, or give the darn toy back to his brother, or flush the toilet…
